Restorative Yoga
Join, Cassaundra, in this, healing and relaxing session - feeling cared for and supported.
Restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing, stretching, and deep relaxation of the mind and body; emphasizes the health care and meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind, as it soothes the nervous system, and can improve your overall well-being.
Suitable for beginners and practitioners of all levels, and especially for those with physical limitations or recovering from injury/illness, as restorative yoga is a restful practice, very gentle on your body, as you hold the poses for a longer slower duration, and participant's can use props like yoga blocks, blankets, bolsters and pillows.
All LiL classes are recorded so don't worry if you missed a live class, simply register at your convenience and watch the class on demand as many times as you want.
*Not all exercises are suitable for everyone and this or any other exercise program may result in injury. Always consult your Doctor/Medical Practitioner before beginning any exercise program, especially if you have any chronic or recurring condition.
**The Content in this series is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health providers with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
